Score Entertainment Playtesting Manager
Description:

We seek an experienced, dynamic and creative individual to manage our playtesting group that supports our design team. The right candidate must be highly motivated & passionate about the work they accomplish. Must thrive in a high-energy, results-oriented and fast-paced environment. This position requires a highly-organized individual capable of multi-tasking and critical thinking. Light travel is required. This person must be professional, friendly, and above all else, passionate about the products they take part in building!

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Diverse gaming/playtesting background
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of the Internet
  • Detail oriented & effective follow-through skills
  • Education: 4-year Bachelor degree is preferred.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of playtesting group and assist in the day-to-day management of the product development team
  • Playtesting multiple games in order to balance team dynamics
  • Implement and maintain reporting functions between the playtesting group and design team
  • Comprehend design team objectives and lead in strategic solutions
  • Effectively communicate timelines, goals and benchmarks among the group

Description:

Education Level: BA or BFA Degree

Score Entertainment brother-company of Donruss Trading Card Co. is looking for a highly creative Art Director/Manager. Drawing from a mix of skills ranging from design, licensing approval and managing staff of two designers. Projects consist of, creating graphic designs for trading card games (Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, Dragon Booster, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho), packaging, collateral material, advertising, trade shows and textiles. Will work closely with Director of Games, Product Development, Licensors and Marketing department. This company is a fast paced and fun environment. Having a passion/understanding of trading card games is a plus, but not required.

Skills
The ideal candidate must have strong logo design, packaging, and page layout skills using a Mac in Illustrator, PhotoShop, and Quark. Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be extremely detail oriented. The individual should be organized, team player, positive attitude, as well as an understanding material costs, deadlines and budgeting.

Public Relations and Events Manager
Description:

We seek an experienced, dynamic and creative individual to manage events, conventions as well as manage public relations for Score Entertainment. The right candidate must be highly motivated & passionate about the work they accomplish. Must thrive in a high-energy, results-oriented and fast-paced environment. This position requires a highly-organized individual who does not require micromanaging and is capable of multi-tasking, critical thinking, and decision making. Travel is required primarily through the months of March through August. This person must be professional, personable, and above all else, passionate about the products they take part in building!

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of the Internet

  • 2 years experience in public relations and event planning is preferred

Job Responsibilites include:

  • Create and manage event budget & yearly calendar of events
  • Coordinate all show needs including set up, rented items, electrical & phone, labor, and rigging
  • Hands-on organization at shows including booth and tournament room set-up & take down, actor relations, supervising contract employees, communications, and actor signings
  • Public speaking such as holding discussion on convention panels, announcements during tournaments, on-site convention interviews with media, and presenting to players
  • Manage creation of new or improved materials to be used as presentation pieces at shows
  • Manage and editorial calendar and public relations
  • Write web stories concerning show events and details, press releases, publication articles, product information sheets and catalog listings
  • Discuss current products and programs with players, retailers, media and consumers
  • Communicate with publications concerning all company needs concerning article details, choosing freelance writers, spoiler lists, and releasing product information
  • Read and route important press clippings and newsworthy items to games division
  • Create direct e-mail pieces and manage their life cycle
