About Score
Entertainment
Score Entertainment is part of the
Donruss Playoff LP family, the second oldest company in the
production and development of trading, sports, and collectible
cards. With their extensive expertise in sports and trading
cards, expanding into collectible card games was a natural
progression. Our first trading card game, Dragon Ball Z Collectible
Card Game, was named "Best Collectible Card Game of 2000"
by insider publication Inquest Gamer and "#1 Most Popular
Card Game With Players Under 15 Years Old" by the industry
strategy publication, Scrye Magazine.
In April 2001, Dragon Ball Z launched Saiyan
Saga. It was an immediate hit, and Score Entertainment reinforced
its production expertise and prepared a third Dragon Ball
Z CCG expansion, Trunks Saga, for our insatiable players.
DBZ recently released its eleventh expansion, Kid Buu, making
it one of the longest running licensed trading card games.
Our collectors have a passion for it just as we do.
Score Entertainment continues creating
and supporting a growing industry with brands that include
Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Yu-Yu-Hakusho. We actively
seek new “best of brand” licensed properties and
media partners. Watch for the launch of InuYasha in October
2004 and Dragon Booster in February 2005.
